Rest assured, we continue to take every precaution in reducing the spread of the Coronavirus and are diligently sterilizing our facility, screening patients for recent travel and illnesses, as well as keeping our team healthy.
While the new California order from Governor Newsom asks residents to “shelter in place”, we want you to know that within this order, the state considers your dental health care to be an “essential service.” Therefore, Dr. Wolf and his team at Genesis Dental Group is committed to our patients and will remain open for your care, with reduced hours.
The Coronavirus as well as other viruses thrive in the nasal and oral cavities. We can’t stress enough the importance of at-home oral care, especially at this time. Stepping up your at-home oral routine will help you to mitigate the virus. We recommend the follow prevention guidelines:
1. Maintain good oral hygiene, brush twice a day, floss and rinse 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Eat healthy foods 4. Maintain proper sleep habits 5. Wipe and disinfect all surfaces multiple times a day 6. Wash your hands frequently 7. Don’t touch your nose, eyes and mouth 8. Maintain “social distancing”
